I'll be honest (I love being honest), I don't sugar coat things. Always direct and straight to the point about everything. Originally a New York native, I relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 2008 to be close to my grandmother. Now a proud and passionate business owner of two thriving companies, one established in 2015, the other established in 2018. The first company was established while working full-time in Corporate America. The latter was established by taking a leap of faith from my 13-year banking career to pursue being a full-time entrepreneur.
Shortly after resigning from my corporate job, my leap of faith began to manifest. I was nominated as Professional Business Woman of the Year by the Jax Chamber’s Professional Woman’s Council for my work in the non-profit and entrepreneurship sectors. As such, a platform to start showcasing information and webinar series to help small businesses and freelancers jumpstart their goals, manage strategic growth, and streamline processes was created.
Reminiscing about my journey, which included multiple challenges, I have learned to persevere by being adaptable to overcome them. Without those previous trials, the expansion of multiple businesses would only be a dream and my business savvy would not be as strong. My ability to connect with others, to meet them exactly where they are on their journey continues to align me with other business owners who are also passionate about their business. This allows me to converse about skillsets and opportunities to enhance areas where growth can be developed. I am honored to share my business knowledge and network recommendations as often as possible.
Looking back on being homeless during my pre-teens years with my mother, I can truly say that it has made me the individual that I am today. The compassion received by mentors and volunteers during a difficult period in my life lit a fire within me to pay it forward. Now more than 20 years later, my focus remains to be the change I want to see in the world. I am excited to share my lessons learned to help other entrepreneurs realize their potential and accomplish their goals.
Your past does not define your future.
